Semifinalists are out for the James Beard Foundation awards, and some of our Maine favorites such as Sam Hayward of Fore Street in Portland and the Chases of Chases Daily in Belfast made the list. Celebrate by patronizing one of these fine establishments.

In the mood for jazz? Head to Aarhus Gallery, where Luna Madidus (formerly Agharta Jazz) will perform. This small venue is the perfect spot for an intimate concert. Plus, you can eat at Chase's Daily (see above) beforehand.
