Curiosity Shop

There are craft fairs chock full of doilies, crocheted toilet paper holders and dolls that cleverly conceal air fresheners.

And then, there is the Creatorium.

You won't find country kitsch or granny's goodies at this indie craft fair, which makes its debut in Rockland at the Lincoln Street Center on Saturday. Instead, you'll find gorgeous jewelry, luxurious fibers (such as the pictured loveliness from On the Round), chic accessories and more. Yes, it's juried. And yes, it will be fabulous.

Worried about your little ones running around breaking stuff? Send 'em to the Splatter Kids Messy Art Studio, conveniently located upstairs from the show and sale. For five bucks, you'll have peace of mind and your kids will have a creatively good time.

Feel like cutting loose? Get your groove on at the after party with music by the Vistas. It's $5 and proceeds benefit OUT! As I Want To Be.

The Creatorium takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. The after party kicks off at 6:30. For more information, visit the Creatorium website.
