Fiddlehead Restaurant

Simple food, well prepared. Those four words sum up the philosophy at Fiddlehead, a lovely new addition to Bangor's dining scene. The water comes in Mason jars. The cocktail menu is fab (though we'd prefer a more extensive wine list). The service is wonderful. and When you order your meat rare, it arrives at the table rare. We recommend the lamb croquettes, the salads and the succulent pork. Owners Laura Albin and Melissa Chaiken, formerly of the New Moon Cafe, have found a winning combination at this casual, affordable bistro.
