Ah, November in Maine. I woke up this morning to find the yard covered in snow. Even better, The temperature had dipped to 25. Which was completely ridiculous, and made the Orono Farmers Market almost unbearable.
Fortunately, my hubby gave me a pair of Sorel boots as an early birthday present. They're good to minus 40. And, since I am a fashion fanatic, it warmed my heart to know they're all the rage in Manhattan — for the next five minutes, anyway.
No matter. My freshman year at UMaine, I got frostbite on my face. I know what a Maine winter is all about. Bring it on.
